You can’t do what you can‘t measure. Show me the numbers. Likes and followers are great for popularity and social proof, but vanity metrics don’t pay bills. Here are some key indicators to help you track progress. If these numbers are not growing, you’ll need to change your strategy: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Engagement: If you are posting valuable content and interacting with your audience, likes, shares, and comments will grow. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Trials & Free offers: Are you offering a free assessment, newsletter, trial, event discount, e-book? The value must be so GREAT, people would pay for it. You can use this to grow an email list. How many are signing up?
Sales: How many are purchasing a product or service you are offering? Tie the purchase to social media account with a coupon code or online purchase. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Interactions with customers on social: If you regularly interacting with current customers, they will be more likely to support, give reviews, and recommend you to their peers. Give them an easy way to stay in touch by using call to actions do and chatbots.
Social Media Reviews: Give customers a place to recommend you. Most customers will choose the business who has reviews over the business that does not. ⠀⠀⠀
Link clicks: If you have a website, you can measure the number of clicks and retarget those people who clicked but did not buy using Facebook ads. ⠀⠀
